Postnatal massage

The postpartum massage according to Dr. Gowri Motha is a wonderful form of relaxation after childbirth.

It loosens the shoulder and neck area, which is often tense due to breastfeeding or feeding and relaxes the abdominal wall, which is overstretched during pregnancy.

The body's natural processes of involution and digestion are gently stimulated and the bladder and uterus are supported in returning to their correct positions. This can help prevent prolapse symptoms and subsequent incontinence.

The separation of the abdominal muscles – the diastasis recti – can also be treated during massage, thus strengthening trunk stability.

The massage has a relaxing and centering effect, giving the new mother an hour just for herself.

The massage lasts 60 minutes and is a self-pay service.

A little tip: A massage makes a lovely gift for a new mother. Gift vouchers available upon request.
