Midwife
Free capacities
Every woman is entitled to midwifery care!
However, each midwife has a limited number of available appointments.
Therefore, it's best to start looking for a midwife as soon as you get a positive pregnancy test to ensure you have support throughout your pregnancy and after the birth.
I currently have capacity for families with due dates from October 2026 onwards.
My catchment area:
Würzburg, Unterdürrbach, Oberdürrbach, Veitshöchheim, Zell am Main, Margetshöchheim, Erlabrunn, Thüngersheim, Güntersleben, Rimpar, Versbach
What to do if you can't find a midwife?
- Call all the midwives in the wider area surrounding your home. You can find lists of them at https://www.hebammen-mainfranken.de/ and https://www.hebammensuche.de/
- Should your search be unsuccessful, please contact the Central Midwife Placement Office in Würzburg at https://wuerzburg-hebammen.de/.
-For increased "baby blues" or other psychological problems after childbirth, the mother-child consultation service at the University Hospital of Würzburg is the right place to go. Contact: 0931-20177535 or 0931-20177800.
